Our cattle are raised in eastern Colorado at Cramer Creek Ranch, located 35 miles northwest of Ordway. Our cattle are not spoiled and produce in 40 acres/cow country. To remain in our herd, our cows have to make a living for themselves, raise a good calf and breed back every year. Not only will our ChiAngus bulls give you calves the feeders crave, but they are docile, pleasing to the eye and have the longevity, virility and structural correctness to travel and cover cows in any country.

The Angus cattle are very important to our ChiAngus hybrids. The give us calving ease, fleshing ability and a tremendous amount of EPD data that help us and our customers further our progress in the beef business.
Our ChiAngus Hybrid cattle have the utmost ability to combine the quality grade of Angus and the performance of Chianina to loose the external fat and still grade choice. They will add pounds to weaning weight, improve conformation, add thickness and maintain a carcass that will give a bigger rib eye with great IMF scores.
When it comes to females, we feel that the longevity, udder quality, and mothering ability that come from ChiAngus cows are second to none. Esch ChiAngus are moderate framed (5.0-6.5 frame score), feed efficient and easy to handle. We, like everyone else, don’t like to be run off by a cow. We have always culled for temperament along with soundness and udder quality.
With the economic changes that our industry has seen over the last few years, we feel that our cattle will provide you a competitive edge through heterosis and not have the huge swings in phenotype that you get when you cross Purebreds. Whether you sell to the feeder or retain ownership, you won’t be disappointed in Esch Cattle Genetics!
